Confession and Acceptance

Here I go again with my self made, self analyzed opinions.

I've had few friends come to me and ask me for advice on how to confess their feelings to someone. I'm the type of person who hates beating around the bush so what I tell them is to say it straight. And as per usual, they are afraid of being rejected. It's not the confession they're afraid of but the rejection.

As a woman of her words, I did exactly what I would tell my friends. I told someone I've been thinking about him a lot and that he is always on my mind. And I got nothing in response. Well, I get it. He is not interested in me. How do I feel about that? Well maybe a little bit sad but comes with my age is maturity. I guess hahaha.

I get it that people would like to be wanted the way they want that person. To be responded in a positive manner. I get that. I also wanted that but along with confession, you also have to have acceptance. Along with liking someone is the 50% chance of them not liking you back. Along with all these, we have to accept that people have different emotions, point of views and likes and we can not make them like us the way we are, as we are. We may be a great person but that is not a guarantee that the person you like will like you just the same as you like them. We can not, in any way, force someone to like us back.

So what do we get in confessing to someone that we like them? For me personally, contentment in letting that person know that he missed a good catch, char! Ahahaha! Joke lang! It's more of closing an open book. It's either you continue to write the story or you close it and move on to the next one. It's up to the other person if he/she will end the friendship as well. As for me, I close and move on.

As for you, you dont have to explain. If I'm right, I get it. We're cool dude. Dont think about it. 😉😘😛🍆

And as for my friends if ever you guys happen to find my blog(but I bet you wont), don't be a coward. Be like me. Char! Hahahaha!
